Scott grew up in Vancouver, then moved east to train at Ryerson Polytechnic in Toronto. He was a freelance technical director for many theatre companies in Toronto and southern Ontario. He spent another bunch of time in the Maritimes of Canada as technical director  and occasional lighting designer for The Atlantic Theatre Festival, Neptune Theatre, and other independent companies before returning to the west coast in the new century. This cross country traveling is something he is used to. Back in Vancouver Scott worked at the Art's Club Theatre, and The Chan Centre before joining Douglas Welch Designs as a Theatre Consultant. In 2011 he became a co-owner of the company re-branded as DWD Theatre Design + Consulting.

2019 will be Scott's eleventh time participating in the Long Reach Long Ride, and the third time on a motrocycle.

Scott brought theAFC, (previously the Actor's Fund of Canada) to the group as a ride supported charity.

Please sponsor me through http://afchelps.ca if you need a canadian tax reciept. A ride specifc donation page should be up soon.
