JvB is thankful that finally he can join LRLR on the road after years of conflicts, thanks to our crazy business.

JvB is a sound designer, production sound engineer, mixer, production manager, proud member of both Local 1 IATSE and USA829 Sound Designers. Production Sound Engineer for Come From Away on Broadway, Toronto, and North American Tours. On Broadway, he has mixed Cats, Chicago, RAIN: A Tribute to the Beatles, Rocktopia, 1984, Eclipsed, Wolf Hall Parts 1& 2, A View From the Bridge, The Lyons, and Seven Guitars among others. He has served as resident sound designer for Signature Theatre Company, Primary Stages, Blue Man Group, and The Big Apple Circus. He has mixed Fortune 500 execs, dozens of international diplomats, two Popes, five American Presidents, and more stars than you can name- trust me, we've tried!

You also might know JvB from his work as a writer & technical editor for Theatre Crafts, Lighting Dimensions, TCI, Entertainment Design, MIX, or other publications. But you have most definitely heard his work mixing broadcast. Sports, anyone? Game shows? Awards Shows? Parades?Music? If not music on MTV, HBO, NBC, ABC, ESPN, or smaller networks, then most certainly his work mixing the worldwide broadcast for Times Square New Years Eve Countdown 1995-2005, the annual 9/11 Memorial, the NY Yankees, NY Giants, USWNT Women's Soccer Team Ticker Tape Parades down Wall Street's Canyon of Heros (2019 Emmy Award) or the annual NBC/Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (2015 Emmy Nomination).

In addition to riding, Jim is passionate about wine and you can check out his wine blog at www.jvbuncorked.com or follow him on twitter or instagram at @jvbuncorked to see what he's tasting these days.
