The 52nd Annual USITT Conference & Expo ended on Saturday March 31st. In addition to being heralded as a great place for theatre technicians and designers to meet, network and learn, this year's USITT proved to be very fruitful indeed for Behind the Scenes.

True to Henry Ford's mantra in the 1920's, you can have any color T you want, as long as it's black! The 2012 LRLR shirts are available in sizes from small to XXXL, with or without a breast pocket. They'll officially debut at the USITT conference in Long Beach on Thursday March 29th. Come on by and buy one! All proceeds go to the charities.

Moe "Bro' Moe" Conn is going to ride to the USITT convention in Long Beach California, from his home in Baltimore Maryland, arriving just in time for the conference and to help set up the LRLR/Sapsis booth with kazoos and T-shirts.

The Long Reach Long Riders are pleased to announce the itinerary for their 9th annual charity motorcycle ride.

The 2012 ride will begin and end in the beautiful city of Seattle, the Emerald City of the Northwest. The riders will gather on Friday August 3rd, and head north the next morning. Before returning to Seattle 8 days later on the 11th, the group will visit some of the finest scenery the rugged Northwest has to offer. The Long Reach Long Riders announce their eighth annual charity motorcycle ride. The ride, which benefits the ESTA Foundation's Behind The Scenes program and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, begins in Billings Montana on July 1, 2011.

As in previous years, anyone who wants to ride with us is more than welcome, either as a 'day tripper' or for the entire ride.

The Appalachian State Head Shaving Extravaganza was a success! $4000 raised for Behind the Scenes and lots of fun was had by all.

The Long Reach Long Riders are pleased to announce that Clark Transfer is offering a $5,000.00 Challenge Grant for this year's Long Reach Long Rider charity ride. The grant, which will be divided between The ESTA Foundation's Behind the Scenes program and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, will be in place until the start of the ride in July. The Long Reach Long Riders are happy to announce they've reached a fundraising milestone. With donations of more than $35,000.00 for this year's ride, the total raised since they began the ride in 2004 has now topped $200,000.00
