Just got the notice from our good friends at Kazoobie Kazoos that our latest batch of kazoos are on their way, straight from Santa's Toyland... uhm... the kazoo factory in Beaufort, SC.

Now, don't confuse Beaufort SC with Beaufort NC. One's pronounced "BO-fort" and the other is pronounced "BYOU-fort". I'll leave it up to the reader to figure out which is which.

In celebration of their upcoming 10th Anniversary Ride, The Long Reach Long Riders teamed up with some of the heavy hitters in the entertainment support industry and the good folks at Behind the Scenes to hold their annual raffle at the USITT conference in Milwaukee, March 20th - 23rd.

The raffle featured prizes donated by BMI Supply, Enttec, Daktronics, Rose Brand, IATSE Local 1, InterAmerica Stage, iWeiss, Lee Filters, Trish & Shan Ayers, Sapsis Rigging, USITT, and Vectorworks....

Each year the LRLR has been extremely fortunate to have a continuing rotation of good-humored and skilled Canadians driving our primary chase vehicle. It has always been difficult for them to raise a lot of money for US based charities from their colleagues and countrymen, because of the tax laws. This year we're very pleased to add Actor's Fund of Canada as an auxilliary charity to our roster. This addition will make it easier to raise funds in Canada, and continues the LRLR's quest to...

The Long Reach Long Riders are now on their 2012 trip "Ninth by Northwest". They started in Seattle, travelled to Vancouver, and will visit Vancouver Island, the Olympic Peninsula, the Pacific Coast Highway, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Mt. Hood, Mt. Rainier, Crater Lake, and other sites while raising money for two great charities. Read about their travels here:

April 2, 2012, New York, NY – The Long Reach Long Riders and The ESTA Foundation are proud to announce the results of their joint raffle and live auction to benefit the Behind the Scenes program at the USITT conference in Long Beach, California. Sales of raffle tickets and BTS and LRLR-branded swag raised just over $9,800 for the charity.
