Phil's a Google software engineer who makes telephones do tricks by day and runs sound for Theatreworks by night (when they let him). He went to college for computer science at RPI and spent a lot more time running the RPI Players than studying. Since then, he's worked in a bunch of community theaters in the Bay Area after emigrating from upstate NY upon getting his degree and a day job.

He's excited to be on this ride, by far his longest to date, and hopefully second most interesting (second to driving the eastern coast of Mexico in a 1994 Civic, being stopped by Federales a few times a day). Motorbikes of varying natures have been his primary vehicle for four years and about 20,000 miles now.
